Contracting at Origin UK Ltd. in Cambridge until the 31st December 1996. The probability of an extension seems high. I will be conducting work in Visual Basic 4.0 during this period, specifically the prototyping of the LCD user-interfaces of portable communications devices in Windows 95 and 3.11, and development work on a Windows-based utility for the configuration of microprocessor-driven portable radios.

Originally contracted here for three months from the 15th June 1996, I have received an extension to my contract until the end of December, and it seems quite likely that I will be staying longer still. I am currently developing Windows applications under Visual Basic version 4.0 Enterprise edition using Visual Source-Safe. I am taking the opportunity to get 'under-the-hood' in Windows, and am working to acquire expertise in the Windows GDI, API use and Windows messaging.
